Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio WFLA)-I'm not talking beer when I say it's a cold one. Temps hit the low 40s and upper 30s out around my cottage on the swamp. It was almost a three dog night.
I checked the TV forecast before hitting the bed. The meteorologists were saying no worries here. The frost warning was posted for the northern counties, from Pasco to the north.
Tattoo Lady went out in the wee hours to find the frost had extended south into Hillsborough. Her car was covered with frost. Good thing I bought an ice scraper last time we were up north. She was not happy about having to use the handy tool.
The good news is that we're expecting a warm-up over the weekend. The bad news is that we're expecting yet another cold front to start off next week. Keep the scraper handy.
