Masks are no longer required in Palm Beach County government buildings.

The County administrator made that effective on Wednesday, but says the county will still strongly recommend facial coverings inside county-operated buildings.

Constitutional officers, like the Palm Beach County Tax Collector and the Clerk of Courts, will make their own decisions on whether to lift their mask mandates.

Also, masks are still required on Palm Tran buses and other methods of public transportation.
