Motorcyclist Arrested After Hit-And-Run Injures 2-Year-Old in Port Richey

Port Richey, Fla. (NewsRadio WFLA) - A motorcyclist is facing charges after troopers say he ran into a two-year-old child in a Port Richey neighborhood and took off.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 63-year-old Buddy Jay Kline was driving his motorcycle near a group of children playing basketball on Oak Crest drive shortly before 8pm last night.

Kline reportedly struck the two-year-old girl with his motorcycle.

He and his passenger both got off the motorcycle then began arguing with the girl's parents then fled the area, according to the FHP report.

Kline also lives on the same street and a Pasco County Deputy spotted him as he pulled up to his house.

He is now facing charges of driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
