Sarasota, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Sarasota Police are searching for the suspect in a bizarre New Year's Eve robbery at a laundry mat that was caught on camera.
According to detectives, the suspect, believed to be a female dressed in a track suit and wig, is seen on surveillance video walking into the Colonial Laundry and Dry Cleaning on North Lime Avenue around 8am Monday morning. They also put on a clear Halloween mask during the incident.
The suspect is seen initially speaking with the victim at one point before later handing her a note telling her to hand over all the money she had.
