Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A two-vehicle crash Friday killed a man thrown from his SUV who did not have his seatbelt on, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The collision between Jerry Walker's Kia Sorrento and the BMW that Daniel Abrahams drove happened on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. just before 5 p.m., troopers say, when Walker, 73, tried to make a left turn onto Garden Ln. and drove into Abraham's way. The impact sent Walker out of his SUV, and he died at the scene. Abraham had only minor injuries.
