The Florida Highway Patrol says a semi tractor-trailer was traveling south bound on i-75 in Tampa when it lost control and drove off of the Fowler Avenue overpass.
The truck burst into flames after it fell on top of an SUV below. The FHP says one person is dead and five people have been transported to the hospital.
I-75 has been shut down in both directions as well as that section of Fowler Avenue.
