Lakeland, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A shooting Friday afternoon left a man wounded in the legs and police trying to find suspects.
Lakeland Police Officers responded to a call about a shooting at 2546 Chestnut Woods Drive at about 1:30 p.m. and found Rodrickles Boggan, 36, lying on the ground injured with two gunshot wounds to his legs, according to a news release from Lakeland Police.
EMTs took Boggan to Lakeland Regional Health, where he is expected to survive his injuries. A SWAT team came to search two empty homes, but police have not found any suspects. "The investigation is ongoing," the news release said.
