St. Pete Cops Seek Rattled Knife-Wielding Robber

St. Petersburg, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Police look for what they describe as "rattled robber," who wore a mask during a robbery attempt, but showed his face to surveillance cameras as he paced apparently frustrated outside the store he tried to rob.

Per a St. Petersburg Police news release:

On July 10, shortly after 4 a.m., a masked man entered the 7-11 Store, 2632 Park St. N., showed the employee a knife and demanded money.

But the robbery didn't go as planned, because the employee eventually chased him out of the store. The suspect takes off the mask and paces in the parking lot.

The video starts with the robbery in the store, then shows him pacing outside without the mask. He is described as a white man, about 5'9" tall, slim build, blue eyes and short brown hair. The last clip shows him arriving in the parking lot and putting his bicycle in the bed of an employee's pick-up truck.
