Body In St. Pete Shed Leads To Murder Charges

St. Petersburg, Fla. (Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A man who lives in a house on 16th Avenue, South, has been charged with murder after police find the body of a woman inside his backyard shed.

Forty year-old Angelo Beckford is charged with murder and  possession of cocaine.  Other charges could be pending.  

Investigators say citizens contacted police, concerned that a man was storing a body at his house on 16th Avenue South.

When police arrived, the man bolted, but was captured moments later.  They then entered the house and shed, where they found the body.  

The women found dead inside the shed has been identified as 29 year-old Cheyenne Snyder.
