Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Tampa Police have solved the February 16th stabbing death of 50 year-old Abdirashid Ali at the Courtyard on the River Apartments. Officers say they've arrested the man's son, 18 year-old Ismael Abdirashid Ali.
Police didn't have to go far to arrest the younger Ali. Ismael Ali has been in jail since the 18th on unrelated charges. Ismael had been behind bars for resisting arrest and theft out of Temple Terrace.
Detectives have yet to offer a motive for the killing, but have charged Ismael Ali with first degree murder.
